Alternate Transportation

Johnson County Transit provides public transportation throughout Johnson County, connecting to downtown Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas.

Broward County Transit (BCT) provides fixed route bus, express bus and community shuttles and paratransit – door-to-door – services in Broward County. Our mission is to provide safe and reliable transportation solutions that link people, connect communities, support employment and contribute to the overall economic growth of our region.

DART has partnered with Polk County to help income eligible residents find and keep jobs through a program called Opportunities Through Transit. Those who are eligible can ride DART buses at a reduced rate while traveling to a job, looking for work, or attending educational/training programs

The Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) provides public transportation on 17 daytime fixed routes throughout the Springfield, Illinois area.

Ride in Kane is a public transportation service providing curb to curb bus or taxi service to seniors 65 and older, disabled individuals, and those with low income who qualify for the service in Kane County. Ride in Kane operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
